What we collect

Account details — the email address you sign up with (or the basic profile returned by Google if you sign in with Google).

Your entries — the journal notes you write. They are stored so you can return to them. They are yours.

How we use it

Only to provide the service: to sign you in, save your entries, and show them back to you. We do not use your entries for advertising, and we do not sell or share them with third parties for marketing.

Where it lives

Authentication and entries are stored with our infrastructure provider (Supabase) and the site is delivered through Cloudflare. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Because these providers operate globally, your data may be processed in countries other than your own.

Cookies & storage

We use your browser's local or session storage to keep you signed in (the "Remember me" option controls which). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your entries at any time. To delete your account and associated data, contact us and we'll remove it.

Children

Journally is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the date above.
